AR Simon Says Game

Simon Says is a classic memory game based on observing and repeating sequences. In this project, I explored how augmented reality can transform a familiar game into a spatial and musical experience.

AR Surface Detection

The system scans the environment to detect horizontal surfaces.

Semi-transparent planes visualize where the game can be placed.

Song Mode (AR Image Tracking)

This is the most interesting feature.


When the camera detects a printed Twinkle Twinkle Little Star marker, the game switches modes.

Each pad corresponds to a note in the melody.

This transforms the game into a playable musical interface.

Removing the marker returns the game to normal gameplay.

Pattern Memory Gameplay

The game flashes a sequence of colored pads.


Players must:

• observe the pattern

• repeat the sequence by tapping pads
